Working On My Cashmerino Blanket

This past week has really been Topsy turvey.  Last Thursday I ended up in hospital where I stayed until yesterday evening.  I asked my Father to bring me a brown canvas bag with red poppies on it in and he brought be a navy blue bag.  Yes I know, how on earth he thought navy was brown with poppies on I don't know.  Instead of The Girl's blanket I had my King Sized Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK ripple.  During my time in hospital I have managed to crochet 4 stripes; blue, gold, turquoise and burgundy:

Looking forward to finishing this blanket and using it.  It is so warm and snugly but being king size it is taking a long time to crochet each stripe.

Linking up with WIP Wednesday, Nicole for Keep Calm and Craft On and with Chrissie Crafts and Ladybird Diaries for Bloomin' Crochet Along.

Oh my goodness and so sorry you have been poorly enough for hospital and hope you are recovering well. The colours on your blanket are lovely and with wool like that it is sure to be very warm.

Sorry You went into the hospital and that really is funny about Your Dad bringing the navy bag. Very nice blanket. I hope to pick up my crocheting again soon.

Hope you're feeling we'll and glad to be home...the blanket is lovely! At least your dad brought a bag, my hubby would have forgotten altogether! ;-) Take care of yourself, Chrissie x
