Counterfeit Kit Challenge April Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my little blog by the sea in Wales. This month I am joining in with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Member's Blog Hop for the first time.  Before I show what I have made using challenge one I need to show you the kit I have put together.  I moved house the middle of February and sadly a large portion of my stash is still in boxes therefore, I was limited to what papers and embellishments I could choose from.  Most of the items in my kit are products that I have brought this year.  Personally, I don't think it matters that much as I am still using up my stash mountain which is what the CKC site is all about.

This months kit was March's kit from Gossamer Blue:

marchmainkit

This is my kit:

I've picked out the turquoise, yellow and a splash of red added some enamel dots and tile alphas.  For the first time I have included some 6 x 6 papers in the hope of using these to make my own embellishments.   I've not included mists and stamps as I will use them as and when needed.

Now on to the reason for your visit.  You should have come to me from Lisa E's blog in North Carolina.

For my LO I took inspiration from the colours; green, yellow and blue.  My kit didn't have any green so I used turquoise instead and yellow papers.  The blue is in the photo; the sky.

From here you should make your way over to Australia and Julie.

The full blog hop list is published on the CKC site so if you get lost along the way head over there.

I'd love if you could leave a comment so I know that you were here.  Thanks for visiting and happy hopping.

Well, first of all I envy you living at the seaside :~) Excellent choice! And in Wales, no less...sigh. As simple as your page breaks down, it has such a rich feel with all the layering & satiny ribbons, etc. Definitely a fave <3

oh my Candace! I didn't click that this was you! How funny and how wonderful to find you here - tucked inside the blog as a big surprise for me!

Your kit is just lovely but this layout is fantastic - such gorgeous colours and the photo works so well. I obviously need that alpha - seeing it around a lot and loving it.

Hope to see you around every month and that you get all your stuff out of boxes. Having moved only 6 months ago, I know how hard all those boxes can be :-(
