What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? (2 October 2013)

Welcome to my little crafty space which today I am sharing with you not my crafting efforts but those of The Girl.  She decided that she wanted to try cross stitch again so this is what I spent all of Sunday doing.  Literately every other stitch she pulled the needle out.  Add to this a migraine and it was a great fun filled day for me!

I had hoped to finish the last few squares I had to make for a blanket but no such luck.

Thank you to everyone who came and visited last week and for all your kind wishes.  They were very much appreciated after what turned out to be a long tiring day.  I've had the results and to be honest it was what I was expecting, meaning it's time to move on and face the next chapter.

Looks like she did a nice job with it. Much braver than I doing all that counting. Sounds like something i would do, losing the thread with every stitch. :) Happy WOYWW! Nan G #8

I had to give up cross-stitch years ago because I had to pull out more stitches than I put in it seemed!

Looks like this ballerina will be pretty when she is done!

Happy Wednesday!

I know I know they need to be encouraged and supported, but with a migraine and a wish for a bit of easy time...still, it's a beautiful piece of work and you should be proud of her and yourself for being such a good and patient teacher.
