What On Your Workdesk Wednesday

A lot of mess!  I haven't taken part for such a long time with WOYWW.  Since the last time I participated my desk has moved over 100 miles to the sea side and a new blog created.  You can find out why here.

Working on catching up with Project Life this week.

Pop on over to Julia to look at many other crafty spaces.

Wow Candace, talk about life changes! You're so brave and a brilliant role model..so what's the self employed part? I'm a partner in my DH's joinery business which till last week meant book work and sales...but am about to start blogging about the changes that have made me his actual apprentice!
My handbag girly, is by Red Herring from Debenhams, got it last summer..there was a matching purse too, but I didn't splash on that and DEEPLY regret it!!
Meanwhile, lovely to see your WOYWW...and your PL stuff is amazing, you're totally on the go!

Thanks for dropping by ...I have just had a quick look at your bravery to up sticks ...it is hard ...I did it 8 years ago. I moved to the sea too but in Scotland from London. I have never regreted it although i might have if I were of working age.My daughter moved with me and it took 4 years to get a job...any job. Even the Job Center intemated that it was predjudice ....because she was English!!?? ... and jobs are few here in Fife.Must have a proper read of your past posts ...good luck xx68

Just read your reason why!
What a fantastic and brave thing to do. I know how you must feel, there is no better place to run to than the coast.
I live in Oxford and so miss the sea. I want to run away too, to the sea in Wales. I would go to the Lleyn Peninsular, Hells Mouth beach and watch the sea birds and waders all day.
Wishing you so much luck. Please keep me posted about your life and progress. Good for you!
Xxx

My desk looks exactly like yours as well; keyboard gets regulated to wherever there is still space.

There needs to be some kind of craft table created that takes computers into consideration! We all need our digital distraction (I mean inspiration) right there with us while we scrap!

Hope you have a fab time in your new home.

Well only a day late but at least I made it round………eventually!
It’s good to have you back with us Candace and what a turn- a-round you’ve made to your life. It can’t have been easy making such a life changing decision even though fate stepped in and gave you a shove in that direction, but it sounds as though it was the right one for you and I’m envious that you’re by the sea.
Happy Crafting!

Thanks for your visit to my blog yesterday... I love to see your Project Life pages but more... I surfed through your blog/website and read a whole bunch - you are inspiring, running of to live by the sea! I was born/raised at the seaside and deeply miss the beaches - it is my dream to move back there... if economics/crisis will ever be over, I will definitely move! Say hi to the waves from me and good luck with the shop! (oh, and happy belated woyww, Marit #84)
